Process of Nitrous Oxide Plant

  • It uses pressure swing absorption technology, which was created by German inventors Carbon Tech and improved by our extensive system experience.
  • The dual tower structure of the nitrogen plant is packed with premium carbon molecular sieves.
  • Auto changeover valves connect the two absorption towers.
  • The nitrogen surge tank holds nitrogen gas of the required purity (up to a level of 10 ppm).
  • For large plants, the nitrogen generated by the PSA skid is roughly 1% oxygen, which is lowered to the required level up to 1 ppm by installing a deoxo/dryer system downstream in accordance with the client's needs.
